Tourism
Tourism is travel for pleasure; also the theory and practice of touring, the business of attracting, accommodating, and entertaining tourists, and the business of operating tours. Tourism may be international, or within the traveler's country. The World Tourism Organization defines tourism more generally, in terms which go "beyond the common perception of tourism as being limited to holiday activity only”
Classification:
1. Depending on the purpose of travel

this is one of the most used classifications; is to identify tourism as the main reason for the trip or the purpose of the visit, to a certain destination .de according to this criterion, tourism can be classified into three broad categories, which in turn are divided into a whole range of types.

these categories are as follows:

a) conventional tourism or holiday type

b) specialized tourism

c) tourism affinity or common interest

2. According to the form of travel

in this case, tourism, regardless of the type of arrangement made by the tourist to make the trip, can be classified as:

a) Individual tourism

b) group tourism

3. Depending on the type of trip

in the way they have made travel arrangements, tourism can be classified into:

a) independent tourism.

b) organized tourism or fully understood.

4. according to the type of operation

the companies that integrate the said travel industry to better identify the field of tourism businesses, classified as:

5. according to stay in the destination

according to the duration of the stay tourist destination, it can be classified:

·       GROUND TRANSPORTATION: Ground transportation is one whose networks extend from the surface of the earth. Their axes are visible, because they are formed by a previously constructed infrastructure along which goods and people.

·       AQUATIC TRANSPORT: Shipping is the action of bringing people (passengers) or things (solid or liquid loads) by sea from one geographical location to another on board a ship with a view to profit.
